Retreats at Origins
Various retreats are offered to individuals and groups. Retreats vary from solo retreats, day retreats to weekend retreats and 5 day retreats, and are facilitated by different retreat guides.
Times of prayer in Poustinia at Origins
Retreatants and visitors are invited to join the daily prayers at 06:00, 12:00 and 18:00
One Day Retreats
A one-day retreat offers an opportunity to experience a first taste of silence and reflection. These retreats are presented around themes that provide focus for the gathering.
Directed Week Retreats
Directed week retreats typically start on Sunday afternoon and end on Friday noon.
Retreatants meet with a spiritual director or retreat guide once daily, in which they are then invited to journey with specific Scripture or practice for the next day.
Weekend Retreats
Weekend retreats typically start on a Friday afternoon and end on Sunday noon. Retreats are led by guides from either Mosaïek or our network.
Solo Retreats
Self-directed retreats(day retreats or sleepover retreats) are available to individuals who want to spend time in prayer by themselves. Daily conversations with a spiritual director are advised.
